In 2018, Belgium counted more than 38,000 road accidents involving nearly 50,000 victims; figures that are rising since 2017. Due to the time change and shorter days, October and November are the months of the year with the highest accident rate, while 25% of fatal accidents are due to speeding.
To raise awareness of road safety and encourage motorists to slow down, Quick will be renamed Slow until November 2; a name change accompanied by a specific baseline: "Eat Quick. Drive Slow".
This campaign will also be available on the web and social networks. Quick has changed its logo on its different channels (Facebook and Instagram account, website, MyQuick app) and has published a video explaining the campaign.
